Terms and Conditions

Nature School Programs

Payment is set for one term of classes, starting in week 1 or 2 of each term. Variations in end dates set by The Ministry of Education in term 4 does not change our set term fee.

Terms And Conditions
By registering your child in a Wildly Curious Nature program, you do so in full agreement with these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that you have read, fully understand and agreed to the following:

REGISTRATION

  • Places will be filled on a first come, first serve, basis. 
  • All spaces are non transferrable. 
  • Wildly Curious may need to make changes, without notice, to the proposed program due to environmental conditions, or educator illness or absence.

FEES AND PAYMENT


Wildly Curious One Day School Program fees. Enrolment fee applies for all new students.

An invoice will be automatically generated and emailed. The invoice will detail specific payment options and conditions. Payments to be made via internet banking. Account information is detailed on your invoice. 

Payments must be made prior to your child’s sessions commencing.

Non payment of fees is an automatic notice of withdrawal from the program.

CANCELLATIONS, ABSENCES AND CHANGES TO ENROLMENT
Please note that by completing the registration you have committed to the fee of your child(ren)’s enrolment. 
You understand that refunds will not be given for cancellation of a program booking. Credits may be given in line with Fees Policy. 

PROMOTION AND DATA COLLECTION

  • Wildly Curious reserves the right to gather data and keep case studies in relation to progress and achievement; and to use this material in any publications and/or marketing purposes.
  • No real student names will be used in any public forums.
  • Wildly Curious reserves the right to take photos and/or video of activities and children participating in those activities, for documentation, data collection, promotional and publicity purposes.
  • If you DO NOT want your child to appear in photos and/or video parents must state this by choosing ‘No’ to the photo permission question on the consent to participate enrolment form.

PRIVACY  ACT  1993  STATEMENT :  

  • The information that you have supplied will only be used for the safe and effective operation and management of our program. 
  • The information will not be passed on to any third parties. 
  • You are welcome to review the information pertaining to your child’s registration at any time.

DISCLAIMER

  • By completing the registration you consent for your child to participate in the program’s activities. 
  • You understand that there are risks associated with your child participating, and accept that, to the extent permitted by law, the program management and staff will not be liable for accidental injuries (and any associated losses) which may occur.
  • To minimise the risk of accidents, the program has safety procedures, including rules and boundaries for behaviour, that will be consistently applied.

Fee Policy
Wildly Curious is a private, fee charging educational service. Timely payment of fees is required in order to maintain the correct child to adult ratios and appropriate resource availability.  Failure to follow the rules regarding fee payments may lead to your child being excluded from the program.


PROCEDURE:

  • Out of hours fees will apply to any child who attends outside of program hours- be it due to early drop off or late pick up. 
  • There is a grace period of 10 minutes, before or after which fees will apply.
  • Late fees are $10 per 10 minutes, or part thereof, for each child attending -out of hours.
  • Fees for all programs are due at the time of registration, and payments must be made prior to booked sessions commencing.

Invoice

  • An invoice will be automatically generated and emailed to you. 
  • The invoice will detail specific payment options and conditions.
  • Payments made via internet banking or cash.
  • A receipt will be issued once payment is received.

Cost

  • Wildly Curious Program fee varies according to the program
  • Termly bookings are a requirement.


Booking changes and cancellations due to change of mind

  • The Wildly Curious program operates on a no refund policy basis.
  • If a booking is cancelled more than seven days before the program commences, a full credit (less the 20% non-refundable deposit) will be applied to the relevant account.
  • If a booking is cancelled within seven days of the program commencing, no credit will be given. 
  • There will be a $50 / child administration fee for all cancellation requests.  
  • Changes to bookings may be made, free of charge, up to seven days prior to program commencement; though these are subject to availability.
  • A booking may not be changed within seven days of the program commencing.
  • Note: that the seven day rule above is seven days before the beginning of the holiday period NOT seven days before your booking.

  • Booking changes and cancellations due to illness or injury
  • If your child is absent due to illness or injury, it may be possible to transfer their booking to another day within the same term, subject to availability.
    • If you wish to transfer your booked day please contact Clara by email wildlycurious.nz@gmail.com to discuss any available options.
    • No refunds will be given where transfer does not prove possible. 
    • If you wish to request a credit due to illness or injury please contact Clara by email wildlycurious.nz@gmail.com Credits may be given on a case by case basis at the discretion of the Program Director. 

All credits must be used within 6 months of issue
